Our local communities and our working relationships are incredibly important to us as they consist of us, the people who uses our service (as individuals and their circles of support), the people who work as part of our team and the Local Authorities who commission our services.

We support the Local Authorities aims in terms of Social Value and align ourselves with their individual policies.  We actively make decisions to support the local environment, promote economic growth and behave in a way provides an equal support network to all our stakeholders.

Our organisation is committed to equal rights and the promotion of choice, person-centred care and independence. Our Social Value Policy demonstrates our commitment to creating a positive culture of respect for all individuals. The intention is, as required by the Equality Act 2010, to identify, remove or minimise discriminatory practice in the nine named protected characteristics of age, disability, sex, gender reassignment, pregnancy and maternity, race, sexual orientation, religion or belief, and marriage and civil partnership. It is also intended to reflect the Human Rights Act 1998 to promote positive practice and value the diversity of all individuals.

We try to buy from local companies, employ local people, support the development of younger adults and generally conduct ourselves in a way that is conscious of the impact we have on the local area in every way.

We are a small business and work as a team to improve our impact on an ongoing basis.  The Directors of the Company lead the changes but through the full consultation of the staff team to provide an inclusive approach which informs our TOM's on the Social Value Portal.
