ABOUT MIDLAND CSE

Great care & support workers are the backbone of our industry.

If you’re in the position where you have to pay for (or commission) care, or alternatively if you’ve worked in care for a significant period,
you’ll no doubt be aware of some of the promises that are made by providers, which often relate to quality, commitment and ‘person centred’ services.

We exist to bridge the gap between what’s promised and what’s physically delivered.

WHY ARE MCSE DIFFERENT?

For us, it’s ALL about communication. If we establish what people’s expectations are, we can communicate what’s possible and construct a package of care/support that actually tries to meet people’s needs by listening to what they actually want.

We treat our staff as professionals and clearly lay out what’s expected of them when they start working for us. We reward people for meeting the levels of service we expect, we recognise good service and we share feedback.

WORKING WITH MCSE

Great care & support workers are the backbone of our industry.

We’ve all experienced bad management in the past and so we’ve set up a care company that aims to treat and support people properly.

If you’re a care/support worker, some of the things below will be important to you – if you pay for care or work in the commissioning of care, they’re even more important:

OUR SERVICES

We recruit teams of staff across the Midlands and support those staff to deliver a service that is in line with what the CQC expect from a licensed provider, i.e. one that is about how we can help you or your business.

To achieve these things, we include the staff and the clients in the set-up of the packages of care/support and regularly seek their input/opinions about how things are going. We assess, monitor, reflect and look for improvement wherever we can in an open, honest and transparent way. We monitor, record and report everything that the licensing authorities would expect us to and work hard to ensure that we take responsibility in line with our duty of candour.

SAFE

This means that people are protected from abuse and avoidable harm.

EFFECTIVE

This means that people's care, treatment and support achieves good outcomes, promotes a good quality of life and is based on the best available evidence.

CARING

This means that staff involve and treat people with compassion, kindness, dignity and respect.

WELL LED

This means that the leadership, management and governance of the organisation assures the delivery of high-quality person-centred care, supports learning and innovation, and promotes an open and fair culture.

RESPONSIVE

This means that services are organised so that they meet people's needs.
